[SOLVED] Maximum Height M.2 Back Mount Mini ITX Motherboard

Many Mini ITX motherboards have M.2 mounts at the back. That's a good thing to utilize what's otherwise wasted space, but no one mentions about the maximum height the M.2 mount is compatible with.

What I know, the motherboard standoffs have around 11mm length.

But still, what do you think the maximum height is?

that depends on case u use
some cases have space for heatsink, some not
without heatsink, any m2 will fit
if temperatures will be high, u can measure how much space u have between m2 and case and put some thermal pads there, so that metalic part of case can act as heatspreader
