Anyway thanks for help.

One question : I have Windows 10 Home Edition pre-installed with my this PC. I want now Win10 pro.
1) What is the "genuine" way to upgrade to Professional Edition. Can you please guide me step by step
2) Since my PC does not come with any WIN10 DVD ; Is there any way I can SAVE this my "genuine legit" license so that if in future if my OS fails I can reinstall without losing my license of OS ?

But what if I make new install with Win10 "Pro", even then I wont need to activate it? Or I am bound to install Home Edition only.

Alright thanks for the help. I wud be buying Transcend 370s 256GB and now make a clean install. And use my HDD for storage. And I think this won't illegit my license as its sticked with BIOS :)

Agreed. If the motherboard manufacturer (or notebook manufacturer) says that 16GB is the maximum, then usually THAT is the maximum. I have several Xeon X3400 series servers, and those are spec'd at a max of 32GB. However, the mobo's they're in (one being an ASUS P7F7-E WS workstation motherboard) list maximum RAM of 16GB in spite of having 6 DIMM slots.

Max ram in general is determined by the MOTHERBOARD.

That´s not true in general. Older motherboards list RAM modules they knew while those have been manufactured, but after that, newer DIMMs with more capacity were coming out and the specification/list wasn´t updated. As well as newer CPUs have more memory options than others.
The RAM controller is implemented in the CPU and therefore the CPU is the main factor.

E.g.

This one can adress just 16GB while the xeon can 32GB.

That will just be getting specs from the motherboard.

Like I said, ive seen this quite a bit recently, especially in laptops. No gaurentees, but I have seen 32gb work just fine in modern laptops that state max of 16.
