I was coping a DVD to my hard drive. I got an error (for multiple disks) saying the maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded.

What does this mean and how do I resolve this issue?

Win2K with SP2 displays this message when a program tries to open an encrypted .VOB file from a DVD and the DVD drive is not "authenticated". The error does not appear for non-encrypted .VOB files.

Solution: Use a software DVD player or a tool like auth.exe to "authenticate" the drive.

ignore everything i say

Just using Explorer to copy it to my hard drive...I think it was Flask's site who said to copy it to the hard drive first.
