So I've come across this setting in the Nvidia control panel, and it was set to the Global setting, which I assume means no Pre-rendered frames at all..? (the other options are 1,2,3 and 4 pre-rendered frames) Anyway, I did some reading, and it seems like some people say that it's only useful for Vsync, while some claim that it's useful in any situation and helps smoothen the gameplay? I'm just curious about what this actually does, and if I should actually use it. I've got a 980 Ti if that changes anything. Thanks in advance!

I see. Well then, is there any benefit to setting my Pre-rendered frames to 1? I've seen some people recommending it, claiming that it's good, but I don't really understand why, I mean, does it do anything else but causing input lag? (I've compared Pre-rendered frames 1 and No pre-rendered frames on the Witcher 3, and I feel any delay or something, but maybe thats just me)
