Maximum ram on 32 bit

What is the maximum ram I can have in 32 bit windows 8...is there anything I need to know about my system before I can change to 64bit... If you need to know about my specs ask me..

4gb. windows 32bit can only give you access about 3.5gb, anymore is wasted ram. And your GPU ram bites into total as well

If PC been made in last 10 years then its parts likely can support 64 bit now.. It would pay to confirm that before you jump.
