I'm planning to upgrade my Lenovo G4-45 from 4Gb to 8Gb of RAM.
My laptop have two ram slots, and I'm currently using only one slot. The thing is, I can't find the maximum speed that each ram slot can support.

I found some info from the lenovo support page:
RAM: DDR3L, 1600MT/s MAX ? 1 DIMM
DDR3L, 1333MT/s MAX ? 2 DIMM

Can someone help me on this matter?

I found the info here: [https://support.lenovo.com/ph/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-g-series-laptops/g40-45-notebook-lenovo/documents/pd100010]

Thanks in advance. 😀 And sorry for my bad english.

Basically when you have two DIMMs installed the unit falls back to 1333 regardless of the rated speed of the memory. You can install another 4GB dimm rated at 1600 but it will only run a pair at 1333, frankly there's no difference at all in performance.

Having said that, I'd buy an eight gig kit with a matched pair either 1600 or 1333 DDR3L dimms and do away with the single dimm altogether, matched pairs generally give less headache.
