im running my 8320 @ 4.2ghz 1.38v and socket temp reaches 67-70c in prime95 small fft.

core temp is around 50-53

are these temps ok for scythe ninja 3 push pull 2x 1900 rpm fans both pushing 110cfm?

it annoys me that people are getting higher clocks & better temperatures with evo 212, even tho ninja 3 should be slightly better ( 1-2c )

I do believe there is no max temp listed by AMD

well..I'd go with 62c
It'll probly start getting unstable around there, anyway
I make an effort to keep all AMD CPUs under 55c on the cores.

Aida64 extreme lists HTC Temperature Limit (TctlMax) at 80 °C (176 °F) But i honestly think going with 62°c is a much better (and safer) idea. I have never seen my temp go anywhere near that.

That has to be at idle, you cant be stressing it out.

I have a Noctua D15 CPU cooler ,a Corsair AIR540 case with 9 fans! And mine idles at 30-31C and I havew a 5 fan speed contoller on MAX! I say Bullcrap ON THAT POST ABOVE! Mine is overclocked to 4.5 and my temps are at 47C (steady).
