Hi, i am going to purchase a Simultaneous Dual Band Router with Gigabit Lan. Can anybody tell me whats the transfer speed it got on Concurrent Dual Band 900(450+450) , 750(300+450) and 600(300+300). I am going to use it for hard drive that can network attached or may be just external hard drive via USB interface.
Thanks

The maximum possible rate depends on the specific router, having adapters with the same capability, and the distance/obstructions/interference that lie in the wireless path.

Personally, I have not yet found any that will stream full 1080p BluRay at any reasonable distance, hence I have had to fall back on wired gigabit.

Check this 5 best dual band wireless routers, reviewed by CNet.

If you can hold down for some months, you are gonna get the wi-fi routers with 802.11ac (currently you have 802.11n). Its gonna be a 1.3Gbps speed. Almost all the vendors are running in the race to get the chipset from Broadcom.

Also look this Securifi, which is world's first wi-fi router and they have got a touchscreen in their router.
