CPU: I5 2500K
RAM: 8GB G.Skill
GPU 2x Geforce GTX 550Ti
HardDrive: 465
PSU: ThermalTake 1050
WaterCooled
Black Web Gaming Keyboard , Logitech Gaming Mouse, A 23 Inch AOCsome type of touch menu monitor idk? with 2 Dell Speakers

i normally wouldn't buy a whole dang computer but i was excited knowing a pawn shop had a gaming pc with a full set up with gaming keyboard , mouse , monitor , speakers. I COULDN'T WALK AWAY Lol
oh and i want to update the CPU to something alot more powerful would a i7 be compatible?

All old hardware SLI 550ti's is not good for todays games. Up to you but not worth it to me 500 bucks would be more like it the pawn shop might have 200 bucks in it.

okay so what should i replace then? i know i need to replace the i5 what should i replace that with? and what should i replace the 550's with

The best CPU you could get would be a i7 3770K the board might need a BIOS update.
For the video card the current prices are crazy I would look for a used GTX 970/ 980

so for the gpu either gtx 970 or 980? do i need to buy 2 of them? for sli? because i already have 2 550ti's so it would make sense to buy 2 of the 970's or 980's right?
