thnx mate
whts your reviews on the asus maximus iv gene-z gen3?

The Maximus IV GENE-Z/GEN3's uATX Form Factor creates a poor PCIe x16 slot spacing.

If you're planning on using more than one double slot-width graphics cards in SLI or CrossFireX, retaining its stock air coolers, you will soon realize that the primary graphics card's cooling air intake is choked off by the secondary graphics card because there is insufficient motherboard space to allow a slot-width of breathing space between them.

You will find that the primary graphics card will always run much hotter than the secondary graphics card.

The Maximus IV GENE-Z/GEN3 would be fine if you're only going to use a single graphics card or two single slot-width graphics cards or two water cooled graphics cards.

That's my personal opinion.

I was wondering did you have to do anything special to get both video cards recognized? I just upgraded to the Maximus IV GENE-Z/GEN3 from a Rampage II extreme. Prior to upgrading my SLI set up worked great. This motherboard does not detect the 2nd video card. I tried both video cards in slot one and theres no problem. Is there a bios setting I'm missing? Disabling the onboard video made no difference. I'm using the same Coolermaster 1250W power supply i was before. Also both video cards have spinning fans when the system is on. I'm totally lost. Thanks in advance.
