Maximus IX Hero: Does it matter if GPU is in 2nd PCIe slot?

As the title says, does it matter if my GPU (MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X) is in the topmost PCIe slot or the one right below it? I would prefer the latter since I find it more aesthetically pleasing. Motherboard is the ASUS Maxiumus IX Hero.

Is there any real difference?

Won't hurt the second slot is also X16.
