so i got a maximus vi extreme motherboard
had it for litteral ages so i decided to repurpose it to a nas since the 10 sata ports are awesome.
got 6 drives in and works fine.
connect my 7th drive (wich is just ssd cache) and it doesnt show up in the bios. the bottom 4 sata ports doesnt seem to work at all.
this board has 2 sata controllers and both are on (bios is reset) i disabled all the uneeded stuff like wifi bluetooth because the nas doesnt use or need it

the red sata cable is connected to the affected drive
as you can see the bios only seems to count to 6 though so not sure what the matter is in this case.
anyone have used this board and know why the 4 ports would be disabled if they are?
