I see Asus posted bios ROG Maximus X Hero BIOS 1101 today. Has anyone installed it? Any feedback? Asus has given no notes that I can find.

Sorry. Didn't notice that the update you were referring to was not on their update page as of yet, so I don't know what the update is supposed to do. However, the adage still pertains: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

depending on what chip set your mobo has it may contain the latest fixes for spectre and meltdown
