Maxtor one touch 4 power adapter

Hello,Hello,
Believe or not...my Australian Shepard chewed up my Power Adapter cord for my Maxtor One touch 4 500GB External HD.

Looking for a substitute and Voltage and Current draw. IE: 12 VDC @ 1.5 amps??

Any thoughts?

Universal adapter is probably the best bet - they have settings for voltage and amps. (and +/-)
