I'll be running Windows 11 Pro. My budget is about $1400 US before tax.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX AMD B650 ATX Motherboard

CPU: Ryzen 7 7700 XT

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB (These are hard to find so I might go with Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT)

PSU: Thermaltake GF1 750W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular

RAM: G-Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 2X16 6000 MT/s

Storage: WD Black 1 TB SN850X M.2

CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO

Case: NZXT H5 Flow Black: I'll be upgrading one of the two included fans to NZXT F120Q for the 4 pin capability and adding 4 more of the PWM fans as well to top and front.

I'm going for a dark, minimal RGB look. I'm thinking with the minimum RGB on the cooler plus the Gigabyte logo on the GPU and with the RGB Ram, it should be plenty.
I may even opt for non-RGB RAM.
Hey this ain't a circus! No toys in the case either.. I'm a grown man, for Heaven's sake.
<Mod Edit>, I eat dinner at 5PM. lol

I'm looking to run MS Flight Sim and Hell Divers II off the top of my head.
And I'm fully aware I'm about to go down the Flight Sim Peripheral Rabbit Hole. :cautious:

Thank you for any ideas/suggestions you may have! It's much appreciated!

PS; I had a different post but have rethought some things and decided to rethink major aspects. To anyone who posted in that other thread, some of that sent me to my rethink, so thanks!

Hey there,

CPU: Ryzen 7 7700 XT

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB (These are hard to find so I might go with Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT)

PSU: Thermaltake GF1 750W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular

RAM: G-Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 2X16 6000 MT/s

Storage: WD Black 1 TB SN850X M.2

CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO
Solid build. All good parts, and no real bottleneck. It's well balanced.

My own preference would be the same build but with a 4070ti Super.

I too had that debate about RGB. I'm prob of a similar background and mindset, but decided to go with the bling RGB everything look! Sometimes I like it, other times I turn the RGB off. But, anyone who sees it lit up, is in wow mode :ROFLMAO:

Good luck with it.

BTW, that R7 7700 XT CPU has dropped by $25.50 US in the last 24 hours! Upping the value!
As for the 4070 Ti Super, I see the attraction, but atm it's a bit on the spendy side for me.
It's either going to be the 6800 XT or the 7800 XT. Essentially it's a decision between 16GB vs 12GB VRAM and RDNA 2 and RDNA 3, respectively.

They are already talking about the upcoming MS Flight Sim 2024 having ridiculous requirements to run with all the goodies maxed. Don't even think about maxing it until the next upgrade a few years from now. All we can do is drool for now.
I'm right with you-about to take the Flight Sim dive myself. As for your system-looks pretty good!
See ya in the clouds!
