I don't know if it's my computer or the program itself, but I've had massive crashing issues with Maya 2009 today. I've been using it for the last two weeks or so and haven't had too many issue. But this today, for whatever reason, the program is crashing like every 10 minutes or so. Prior to 2009 I had Maya 2008 which I used for about a year (on the same computer) and didn't have any issues outside the 2008 modeling bug that caused crashing galore. However I'm now using 2009 and I'm animating, not modeling.
I've gone as far as to shut down all programs but Maya, still doesn't work. I've rebooted my computer, still no change. Maya isn't even giving me an error, it just stops functioning and I have to force quit it. I thought maybe file size was an issue, it's just shy of 50 MB, so I deleted most of the things in the set as a test and bought it down in size by about half. Still didn't make a difference.
Any ideas as to what's up? I can't get anything done when it's crashing all the time....
