Alright so after a long conversation with a couple guys on the forums I've decided upon what components to upgrade and which ones to buy. I was just wondering if I could get some second opinions on the setup before i make the buy.

My current system
CPU: AMD phenom II x4 955 3.2 quad core
Mobo: MSI 790X-G45
Cards: HIS Radeon HD 5830 x2 crossfired
Power: Corsair TX650w
RAM: Corsair 4gb x2 2gb x2

These are the 3 components I'll most likely be purchasing:

MOBO: MSI 970A-G46
Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 4GB 256-bit
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz AM3+ 125W Eight-Core

Anyways some second opinions would be nice on compatibility which each other, and overall product. Possibly info on where a bottleneck would appear. Please no (Intel or AMD fanboy favortism 😀)

Thanks in advance guys, Im pretty new when it comes to this stuff 😀

to be honest im not sure if i will. i never really got around to doing it to my current system

perfect thanks for the input.. quick question though will you think that my power supply will be enough.

ive done some power calculations on a couple different websites, and it appears that my current system and the new upgraded im looking at will consume the same power which will be approx. 600w. Ive never had a problem with power supply.

Never a bad idea to keep some overhead with the PSU.
