Does anyone know if Sound blaster live value has AC3 passthrough (throughput?)

If you have the SPDIF hookup on the board (where you place the DVD speaker connector inside you case, it should allow for digital passthrough. If it does not, then I'm not sure. On another note, Soundblaster is comming out with a new Sound card very soon, but is you can't wait, Hoontech's SB DB-3 at http://www.tracertek.com/sblive.htm gives you a lot of digital in's and outs that may come in handy in the future.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
