Question MB boot LED

Hello,
I just finished building my first pc yesterday the specs are:
-motherboard:Asus rog strix z390e
-cpu:intel 9700k
-ram:32 Gb ddr4 g.skill trident
-gpu:EVGA rtx 2070 super
-psu:EVGA 750w gold rated
-cpu cooler:kraken x62
-case:fractal meshify c
-2 TB Samsung Ssd
So installed everything and then turned it on and the onboard LED’s checked components and it flashed the cpu light then went off and did the same for the DRAM, but the vga and boot lights stayed on and nothing was being displayed on the monitor if I had the display port plugged into either the gpu or mb. So I turned everything off and pulled my gpu out and put it back in to make sure it was set correctly and then double checked all the cables to make sure nothing was loose and then powered it back on and now the VGA light will flash and then turn off and it is now displaying my bios. However, the green boot light on my mb is still on so my question is what exactly does the green boot light mean? This may be a stupid question but I’ve never done this before and thought it would be fun to build my own and now I’m scared that I have messed something up and am kind of panicking. I really appreciate any feed back and help I can get.

Hi, No worries. Is there a bootable drive connected to the board?

Hi, I have the 2 TB ssd connected but have not installed windows 10 yet so is that the reason?

I'm pretty sure the boot light is on because the motherboard cannot find a bootable device. So, like alexoiu said, yes, that is the reason.
