Looking for a cheap new motherboard that I swap all my parts into. Some of the micro atx boards are under $100 but it seems I have to do something with the bios. I don't game anymore so I use it only a few times a year.

Thank you for any help!

Unless you can update the motherboard or get verification that the BIOS has already been updated, you need a Z97 motherboard if you want to overclock, an H97 if you don't. "Cheap" and "new" are not words you're going to find together with this problem; these motherboards came out in 2014.

You'll find a plethora of used Z97 motherboards for $50-70 on eBay and you'll find new ones above $150. There's nothing particular if you don't have any specific needs, just one that looks like it's in reasonable shape and from a reputable company.
