Hi guys.
I have 2 hdd in Raid 0 set up by my old p5Q pro's intel Matrix storage Raid controller. It's called Explosion, stripped in 128 kbs.
One day, while browsing stuff, my computer froze and had to reboot. No more post, no boot no nothing. Found out the MB was dead. I switched for Gigabyte GA-EP45T-UD3P also using ICH10R

I plugged the drives into the board and found out my raid setup was found. Problem is that the raid status has failed.
One of my 2 drives shows as "non-raid"

I know my drives are healthy. I just want to be able to repair and boot vista to get my data back.
If I ever get my data back, i'll use a third HDD for storage only.

Please help !

(I'm an intermediate level computer user)

edit : I don't recall in which port the hard drives where plugged in. P5Q pro ranges from 1 to 6 while Gigabyte's board vary from 0 to 5. I hope it won't be a problem

I have an update for you :
I was able to boot in vista using ubuntu live cd and let it go all the way to my files.
I could of course login everytime using the disk but it aint very conveniant.
Can anyone tell me how to tell my mobo that all is fine and my files are safe?

Just so you know, I fixed my problem with a vista windows repair.
I could do that only after booting once in vista by inserting Ubuntu live disk and let it go all the way to the os. Then I could see Unknown OS on unknown disk in vista repair. It took me about 40 mins to fix then My raid setup was fixed!

update : I went out to a party. I came back and my ups told me there were an overload. So i rebooted and AGAIN, one of the two drives was not part of the raid.
System repair has failed this time...

what can I do ?
