MBC: Pristine Salvager Control

I'm trying to put together a listing for a W/U/r Pristine
Angel/Salvager Control deck. Here's what I have so far:

2 x Pristine Angel
4 x Auriok Salavagers
4 x Leonin Squire
4 x Trinket Mage
2 x Leonin Elder

4 x Aether Spellbomb
4 x Conjurer's Bauble
4 x Engineered Explosives
2 x Chromatic Sphere
2 x Pyrite Spellbomb
1 x Sunbeam Spellbomb
1 x Leonin Bola
[20]

4 x Seat of the Synod
4 x Ancient Den
2 x [Red Artifact Land]
4 x Flooded Strand
7 x Plains
5 x Island
2 x Blinkmouth Nexus

I'm not sure about the mana base and I haven't run it through a
metagame gauntlet yet.

I've seen a version with Lantern of Insight + Psychogenic Probe for
the kill instead of Angels. It's less competitive but far more funny

Psychogenic it's good on its own. Solemn Simulacrum, Silvan Scrying,
Reap and Sow, Wayfarer Bauble an so on are all damage source with
probe in play.

I don't know either. But one thing I do know is that Flooded Strand isn't
in the Mirrodin Block. Just a friendly pointer, I missed it until now too.

Perhaps a couple of Mirrodin's Cores could replace it, to help get
more counters on the Explosives, unless you wish to keep it a Type 2
Deck.

It looks like a fun deck that could gain some good control and
real good card advantage if played right. I like the idea of Control
without counterspelling.

But I can't really help you on metagame-type decisions. That's out of
my area of expertise.
