Quick question, why do some routers support suck high Mbps when internet plans never can reach that Mbps? And also, if I have an internet plan that has a download speed up to 25 Mbps and a router that can go up to 300, how does that work out?

The 300Mbps speed is the connection speed between you and the router, and between you and any other devices on the internal LAN.

If your ISP plan is 25Mbps, that is (theoretically) what you will get conversing with the outside world.
