Question Mcafee alert...I don't have Mcafee...

Win 10 Pro with Defender all up to date, no other antivirus software only basic free C-Cleaner.

A virus alert keeps sliding out at first it said Mcafee, now it’s generic. I haven’t clicked on it except once I clicked the X to close it and it opened a browser window which I quickly closed before it loaded. I ran C-Cleaner, then scanned with Defender, full scan and then the “offline scan” and it’s still happening every couple of minutes. Need help, TIA

You might want to run Malwarebytes on your system and see if it picks up any stowaways. Could you pass on a screenshot of when it happens? Host the image on a site akin to Imgur then pass on the link on this thread, for us to see,
