MCP655 or Pmp-500

I currently have the Pmp-500. The unit is dead now because of the electrical components. My current setup is a 360 and 240 RAD for GPU and CPU Block. In your guys opinion would you get the PMP-500 Again or MCP655 or any other pump that you prefer.

Would i notice a difference in temperatures between a very powerful pump like the pmp-500 and a the 655?

I personally use a PMP-500, so im a fair bit interested in how yours died?

It was something to do with the molex connection shorting out. Now it just won't turn back on. The only thing I didn't like about the 500 is that it was recently loud. So in reality with my current loop I wouldn't see any real performance gains between the two?

I'm about to upgrade/replace my loop and was going to use this pump but have two questions, is it actually overly loud or is it okay?

It makes noise, a constant medium hum that I haven't managed to find any way of minimizing yet. I wouldn't call it loud, but it is noticeable. If your looking for a quiet loop, I would be looking at a different pump.
