So basic but helpful question. Is there anyway to estimate the size of a CPU cooler you can fit in you case before installing everything? Because I'd kind of like to order everything at once and have it work so I was hoping people who are more experienced had a method or some vodoo or something..
If you give me the method I can work out the madness or if you want to know...
The case is a Silverstone FT-01 http://www.silverstonetek.com/products/p_spec.php?pno=FT01&area=usa
It's going to be running an i7 920 on an Asus P6T Deluxe ver 2 mobo.
From big to small I was looking at:
Thermalright U120E >> 132x63x160mm, +fan (most likely too big?)
Noctua NH-C12P >> 114x126x152mm
Thermalright Ultima-90 >> 115x55x139mm +fan
Nexus XiR-2300 >> 106x122x111mm
Probably don't need anything this good for what I'm doing, aiming for quiet + just some light overclocking.
