Mechanical Key Actuating Multiple Times When Held

I've had this Corsair K70 with Cherry MX red switches for a while now, I didn't notice far too long after I got it. As far as I know, it's only happening to my Numpad 2 key which I tend to use often. If they keycap moves in the slightest while held it'll give out for an instant and then activate again. I've removed the keycap and the problem still continues when I just use the bare switch if I alter where I put pressure on the key whilst holding it.
Any ideas on how I might go about fixing this? It doesn't seem like anything is obstructing the key from fully bottoming out so I'm at a complete loss.

My two cents is that if it's still in warranty they should replace it or the store should swap out the switch if possible.
