Hi

I recently purchased a mechanical keyboard (Razer Blackwidow 2013 Expert). This is my first mechanical keyboard but a problem I have is that I spend a lot of time on Skype with my friend. She says the clicking is extremely loud and it drives her crazy. Is there anyway that her or I can change a setting on the microphone or sound mixer or anything to make the clicking sound not so irritating for my skype calls?

Hence why you should have researched into keyswitches when you decided on a mechanical keyboard, the Blackwidow uses MX Blue Switches, which are the loudest switch.
Not sure, would try messing with a microphone equalizer or something like that until the click is minimized.

technically cherry mx blue keyswitches aren't the loudest keyswitch. that would be the ibm buckling spring keyswitch found on old ibm m boards and new unicomp customizer boards.

cherry mx blue keyswitches are optimal for typing. there is a version without the audible click but with the tactile bump (brown if i remember right).

there is a good mechanical keyboard guide on hardforums you may want to read.

as per your question, yes there should be a setting you can use to eliminate any low level sounds or perhaps you want to relocate your mic to a different location.
