Mechanical Keyboard for Laptop

Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a mechanical keyboard specifically for laptop users? I'm looking for something that would lay atop my laptop keyboard without disturbing the keys underneath, possibly even with an attachment system to 'hug' the sides and prevent it from moving independently.

I know of no such animal. Your best bet is to find a small tray just high enough to fit over the keyboard but not impede your screen. You sound like a candidate for a docking station with an external monitor unless space/budget is a big concern.
