Mechanical Keyboard help

Hello,
I bought my first mechanical keyboard slightly under a year ago. The keyboard is a das model S and its been a great keyboard. Recently I've noticed that my "X" key dosn't always register when depressed, I was hoping someone could tell me if this is indicative of a bad key switch. It anyone could help me resolve why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it.

did you ever try to release your X button from the keyboard then try to clean it? if so then maybe you need to call the support center of the product... goodluck
