Mechanical Keyboard suggestions

I am looking for a gaming keyboard. I was hoping for mechanical but the noise level is unacceptable. I live in a small apt. with my GF, and my PC is right next to the TV in the living room. I'm not a good typist and am pretty aggressive, so "not bottoming out" is not an option. Is there quiet versions of mechanical keyboards that are actually quiet?
Will dampeners reduce the sound enough so it is annoying to peeople around me or am I boned and should stick with membrane?

I'm sure MX red switches with dampeners should be quiet enough for your needs.
