im looking for ones with a wrist rest, as my hands are getting worse and worse as the years go on, anything to help.
that said, i would like to mention that another thing that i'm looking at is lazer etched keys, not just painted on keys. mostly so the paint on them will never wear off, that said, even on my keyboard now, awert are the only keys with paint wear and some of the paint on the keyboards plastic is also wearing off significantly do to years of use.
with razor, i know im paying specificly for a name and haveing a light up keyboard, but lets look at this one.
http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-gaming/vengeance-gaming-keyboards/vengeance-k90-performance-mmo-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html
if every key on that keyboard was mechanical i wouldn't have much of a problem getting it, however, i believe the programmable keys and the delete home end and page up down are membrain, with how much i use them, thats not acceptable.
i also prefer cherry blue, i love the satisfying sound they make.
ok, lets put it this way.
all the buttons on a normal keyboard, besides the f1-12 keys must be mechanical. this is bare minimum
after that,
programmable keys are a plus, especially if mechanical
cherry blue is a major plus, just because i love the sound, but will take others if what i want cant be had with blue
lazer etched keys are also a plus, unless i can get keys that are after market, never looked into that... but that is a plus
because programmable keys are mostly used for gaming (i want it just to have common things i type easily at my disposal) and lazer etching is the process that these keys go through to be see through, led back lighting isn't a huge problem for me if it can be turned off, and doesn't cost a premium price jsut for it like razer.
im sorry if i sound picky, but with a mechanical keyboard, im honestly, looking at spending more money on that than and single part inside my computer right now. even with the one that you pointed out.
