'Mechanical' USB a/b switch?

Hello everyone,

I currently have an Iyamah monitor with touch screen capability over USB.
I have 2 computers, a PC and Mac Mini.
To connect both machines to the touch screen, I have used an HDMI KVM, with a nice little button for the user to switch between the two. (An ATEN CS692).

The HDMI switch works great, but it seems the USB switching is an issue.

It seems that the only way to move the touch functionality between the two machines is to disconnect and re-connect the USB. It doesn't like the KVM at all.

Now, my question is this: Are there any 'mechanical' USB switches out there? That would break the USB connection before remaking it again? I've spent some time trying to find something, but have no had much luck.

Yes, they exist, the problem is sometimes windows doesn't recognize you've disconnected the device after switching.
There are quite a few USB switches on amazon that are easy to deal with, but they may only provide you with 1 USB port to plug your device into, so you might need another USB hub to connect more devices for switching between systems, or if your keyboard has a USB port on it, you can plug your mouse into that.

I've actually managed to get it working with the KVM I initially wanted it to work with!
With the USB device being a touch screen and not 'technically' a mouse, I had to turn off 'mouse emulation mode' on the KVM itself.

Now it works fully
