Medal of honor airborne no longer works

Hello,
I installed the latest driver for my Nvidia 8800GT,which I have two in my system. then when I tried to play the game is gives me a message that it requires ageia physx to play. When I try to install it from the disk,I get a message that version 9 is installed and stops the install. What can I do to get my game to play again.

uninstall the drivers, and then install the latest version that worked
if everything works, super. Then maybe u can try installing the updates again
