guys help me .. its frustrating .. even updated the game .. still the problm persists

Hello,
I have Need For Speed Shift by EA.It also requires the DVD to be inserted into the DVD drive to work.Updating the game won't help.You can't play the game without it's DVD.Hope this helps,
