Media Card Issues [Pre-Purchase]

Hello,

I'm getting [THIS] media card reader, and I have a question. It appears that the cable used to power it, from the motherboard is already taken on my motherboard. Is there another place to plugin it in, or is there a splitter for this type of cable? I really need this. Thanks !

You'll need a spare USB port which is the cable your talking about. Look around, they are usually located on the bottom part of the motherboard. If you don't have a spare you won't be able to plug it in unless you remove the one connected to the front of your tower.

What you're saying is it's USB Powered? Just a regular USB?
