Media Center PC questions

The most important thing is the input (tv tuner card) and output (graphics card) other than the other basic PC components right? If I buy a HDTV that has the standard hdmi/component/s-video which connection would give me the best high definition signal? Most of the sets I see in stores only have a d-sub and not a dvi connection. What would be best? Also if I get a service like AT&T Uverse does that come with a set top box that I'd have to connect to my tv tuner? What connection would this use (coax?) and would there be any high def degradation? Thanks for any help.

HDMI is the best one of those three. It is what I use from my Media Center PC to my TV and the picture looks great.

One more question. Which remote would be best the one from the tv tuner card or one that comes with the media center case? If I decide to get a seperate remote would the logitech harmony work for PC components? Thanks.
