Media Keeps crashing?!

So basically what keeps happening, atleast once a day, I could just be watching any type of video, normally youtube and my browser just crashes...the sounds from the video crashes and will sound robotic then my PC will freeze for a minute and just go back to normal?? wth is going on

it's a custom built pc, i'll try remember, it's been over a year

Radeon 7950 3gb MSI

AMD fx-6350

1tb seagate barracuda

asus m5a97 r2.0

550w psu ( cant remember brand )

Have you run a virus scan recently? That may be your issue or your GPU is dying.

yeah just did one about an hour ago, removed all threats, it nevers happens when i'm in game or anything literally just when i'm watching videos
