media management between laptop and mobile device

have an old blackberry off contract that I use to play podcasts and some videos. The laptop has videos in a dedicated folder. Want to create an additional folder on the laptop that has some of the videos of the dedicated folder and some only for the blackberry. Is there a way to place a synchronization link in the blackberry folder so I do NOT have to duplicate the video content? Guidance sought.

Duplication won't occur if you copy to the same folder on your PC every time.
When you issue the copy command, Windows will ask you if you want to overwrite existing file if it already exists.

You tick "Do this for all files" then click "No" ("No" meaning do not overwrite).

Much thanks for the timely reply. Regrettably, the issue has lead me to a greater problem. While going through the blackberry settings, I must have changed something and now when connecting to my laptop via USB the windows 7 laptop does not recognize the blackberry. Have no idea what I changed and continued support is appreciated,
