I have a Samsung UN46F7500 Smart TV, and my computer's HDMI is not working with it.

We've tested the cables, used a different device (Apple TV), and updated the graphics drivers on the PC. The TV recognizes that something is connected, however it doesn't show the screen. I've bought a new video card only to have this same issue. Also, the computer does not recognize the TV at all; when looking at display options on the device manager, no display exists for the TV. Running Win 7 Pro, SP1. When I initially plugged it in with the old video card, it very briefly worked until I shut down and has not worked thereafter. Any ideas?

Solution
Hello... Try the DVI input on the TV... thats how I connect to a Much older TV than yours... try setting your Video Card to 120 hz... try different HDMI cable... not all HDMI cables are made of the same Quality... there are different Versions relating to Quality and Speed of transmision... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI

I've definitely done both and spoken to Samsung, who did not have a solution for me. Unclear as to what would keep the digital handshake from occurring at this point. .
