I thought that medical monitors could be used for editing if you had the money to buy one since it might have better quality than the standard consumer monitor, has great viewing angles and a consistent brightness.
What do you guys think?

My experience with medical quality monitors, is that they are better color balanced than consumer monitors. Vendors evaluate monitors and pick the best for medical and holywood. They demand the highest color calibration. If your monitor is improperly calibrated, you might misread an X-ray.
