MEDION MS-7708 upgrade RAM and GPU question

So i have mother board MEDION MS-7708 and i want to put some ram and a better video card for gaming, i have searched online but haven't found much, my question is:

For video cards:
-Can i put a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 760 OC WindForce 3X 4GB DDR5 256-bit on it?
or the following choices > ZOTAC GeForce GTX 750 2GB GDDR5 128bit PCI-E (ZT-70704-10M)
>EVGA GeForce GT 740 Superclocked 4GB GDDR5 128bit PCI-E
> GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC WINDFORCE 2X 4GB GDDR5 128bit PCI-E (GV-N75TWF2OC-4GI)

Which video card do you think would fit best? From what i know it seems that the gtx 760 with 256 bit would fit perfect but i'm not quite sure yet, and that is why i want to know for sure, coz i don't wanna buy something and look at it like a museum art piece

AAAnd for RAM: from what i've read it seems my motherboard supports only DDR3 8 gb ram, but i want to put ddr4 8 GB ram or more, what do u say? is ddr3 the limit?

Hello.
This is an older board on the H61 sandy bridge chipset. It supports any video card that works on the PCIe chipset, if your power supply is adequate for it. The GTX 740 or 760 will both work without any issues, providing you install the correct drivers.

Though I would suggest for the price to get a better and more recent card, such as a GTX 1050/60 or an RX 460/70. The GTX 760 is the best card out of the lot, but there's other choices that might be at a better value.

As for ram, your motherboard has a maximum of [strike]16GB[/strike] 8GB of ram. It is limited to two [strike]8GB[/strike] 4GB DDR3-1333 sticks as the best available option. DDR4 is only supported by newer motherboards.

I am sorry, I'll have to edit my post. After checking multiple websites, I am pretty sure your maximum will be 8GB total. Unless you can find the exact manufacturer's specs, I suggest only using a piece of 4GB DDR3 in both slots, for a total of 8GB.

What GPU do you have now? My concern is Medion are known to use absolute junk PSU's and any GPU that takes more power than what the original build needed is going to be risky without a PSU upgrade which may or may not be possible as Medion often use non standard plugs.

I have an Nvidia gforce N520GT 1 gb

Hmm, this does not actually tell us if your PSU is correct. That video card is a really low power card.

IT IS, FPS350-60EMDN so basically 350 V, but why? it's good enough for my actual video card... but my concern is how can i know for sure how much GB ram or video card pci slot is fit for my motherboard? i really want to get better ram and Vram but i don't wanna buy them and be unable to use em, i surfed the net a bit but with no luck yet,i wasn't able to find any fix clue for my problem, in one side i get 16 gb ram for the motherboard on other site i get 8 gb max and i have really no idea what to do next, is there any particular place i must look into to finally find out what the HECK is my motherboard specs..?!?! it's pretty frustrating ya know, i3 proc and only 8 giga of ram why the heck would some1 do dat do a pc.. :/

A GTX 760 will not work, it is too old and uses too much power. Your only available new cards that will work for sure are : RX460 or GTX 1050ti.

A GTX 1060 can work, but it is at the limit. Any other older card uses too much power. Unless you upgrade your PSU, then you're limited to that.

WEll to be honest, i informed mysleaf and figured i would buy a 600 V power voltage also.. is dat okay for the cards u said or i gave in the description earlier??

Tx for all the answers above man, I really appreciate the anonym help, i just want to ask your opinion on dis: Does it worth to buy a 4GB DDR5 for upcoming games(4-5 years) or should i earn some money and buy a 6gb or 8 gb ddr5 just to be sure? What ya think? 😛

If you plan on playing at 4K in the near future, then 6GB or more is almost a must. If you plan on continuing to play at 1080p, then 4GB is enough. It's a question of what your resolution and quality settings will be. But RAM isn't everything, you need to check how powerful the cards are. Even with 8GB of ram, it doesn't mean it's future proof.

i play on 1440x900 p REZOLUTION but i'm not sure if i should buy 4 gb or 2 gb ddr5 and if must be 256 bit or 192 bit

The GB of DDR or the bits don't mean anything. You are better off comparing cards using something like this:

Of course, it's synthetic, but it gives you an approximation. Of course, higher GB and higgher bit rate is better across similar cards. But not across different brands and models.

But for nvidia it's easy to know which card is the best:

GTX 750
GTX 760 The higher number means a better, faster card. The 7 means the 7th series of GTX cards.
