Meeting Microphone Feedback

I host a few people on Skype at some company meetings I attend. I recently purchased an omnidirectional microphone (MXL AC404 USB Conference Microphone) and everyone loves the way it picks up the audio for our conference room. Unfortunately if anyone on Skype wants to speak up during the meeting, we get massive feedback as the microphone picks up the voice coming through the speakers on the laptop.

Is there a way that I can set the microphone to mute when audio is coming through my speakers? Or is there some other way that I can adjust things so that we don't get feedback every time a Skyper wants to chime in?

I'm using an Acer ATC-605-UB11 desktop with Logitech Z313 external speakers/sub with the MXL microphone listed above. OS is Windows 10 with Realtek HD Audio Manager. I've snooped around the settings a bit but I don't know a ton about audio settings and I can't seem to figure it out myself. Any help is much appreciated!
