MemOK red light. Button won't fix it

I'm sure this is a very common problem here on the forums, but I really need help. My computer seems to run fine from the inside, but the screen stays in power save mode and I get that shiny red light. I tried like 10 different sticks that are compatible but nothing worked. The board is used from ebay but It looks great and claimed to work 100% and tested. Is there anything I should try doing before going towards the seller aggressively?

MOBO: p8z68-v pro/gen3
Main ram: 2x4 ddr3 1600mhz corsair vengeance

Since you've tried different sticks, have you tried each slot individually?

Yes, nothing worked. I checked on a different computer and they did work well.

Might clean out the slots, and the connectors on the sticks, might also reseat the CPU

Can you give me some instructions on how to clean it?

Canned, compressed air works good on the slots, I normally use rubbing alcohol and a foam swab on the memory contacts, often suggested (which I would stay away from) are erasers (can leave rubbery residue) or Q-Tips (leaves cotton fibers)

Sorry for the late response, but it didn't fix it 🙁. I pretty much tried everything. I reset the CMOS (both ways), I took the board out of the case to see if something is shortening it and I had wet the connectors with alcohol and put it In and out to dry, and yet it doesn't work. I am sure the ram works on a different motherboard. Should I try anything else?

Might pull CPU and check for bent pins, reseat the CPU and give it a try

Only one led can be on at a time and there is a priority with the cpu over the ram, so I can be sure that if only the ram led lights up then there is only a problem with the ram.
