Memory BSOD. Checksum error. Now nothing happens.

Hello,
I got a memory BSOD last night and the night before that. The first time, I just reset my PC and everything was fine. The second time, I restarted and I got this message right after the boot screen: "The file may be corrupted. The file header checksum does not match the calculated checksum." or something similar to that. I looked around and someone said to unplug all USB devices, which I did except for my mouse. I got the same message and reset again. the computer powered up for a few seconds and shut down. Then it powered up again and all I see is a black screen. I'm about to try each memory stick one at a time hoping the issue is just that one of them is messed up. Has this ever worked for anyone in the past, or will this most likely be a waste of time?

It seems that the BSOD happened when the computer was going to hibernate because I left my computer on and woke up to BSOD instead of it happening while I was using it.

Oh yeah, hardware specs:
CPU: Core i5-650 3.2 ghz
RAM: G.Skill 2x2gb 1600
Mobo: MSi P55M GD-45
GPU: GTS 250 1GB
HDD: 500gb WD Caviar Blue

edit: This is on Windows 7 Pro.
