I'm trying to determine the amount and format of memory that my friend's desktop computer can hold. She currently has 2GB of memory and is running Windows 7 Home SP1 (64-bit) but the computer is horribly slow. I want to see if the computer will hold more memory and what format it would have to be so that I can offer that as a possible antidote to her problem if I can't find the source of the bad performance. I hope it won't come to that but I just want to see if it's even possible to put in more memory. Google hasn't been very helpful in finding the memory capacity of that computer.
