Hello to all. Recently I re installed a friends computer because he was complaining that when a customer inserts his memory card, the data inside the memory card disappears when viewed on the computer. And inside the memory card when viewed, the data turns into strange characters with USBC text... so i set about reformatting the PC and after a few days problem still persists.. what bugs me is that i did a clean install of the os deleted and re partitioned the hard drives.
Now my question is this due to faulty (my) installation? Antivirus incompatibility? cause' currently am running 2 antivirus and one firewall program.. or is it because the memory card of the customer is already corrupted? or maybe is it because of the cheap card reader?
My friend owns a small computer shop that does printing jobs and photo picture printing, so a lot of people come in all the time and we don't really know the history of the memory card the bring in to us.
PC Data:
AMD Athlon II
ECS Mobo (forgot what it was)
Nvidia geForce 8600gt
4 gb RAM
500gb WD Hard Disk
Windows 7 Ultimate
Avast Antivirus Pro
Malwarebytes
Comodo Free Firewall..
Will try to post screenshots but i dont really know how to do it.
Sorry for the lengthy post... And thanks for all the feedback.. 😀
