Memory Card Reader cannot recognized MicroSD inserted on it

Last Year, I purchased a 4 GB MicroSD Card and a Smart Memory Card Reader. Last time, It work when I inserted it on my Computer. But when I formatted it on a FAT32 File System, It recognized on my Computer but it appears only "Removable Drive" and when I access it, It is very too long to respond and suddenly, the Explorer is crash and later on, it says "Please insert disk on Removable Drive" even if my MicroSD is inserted properly on its appropriate slot.

In my Memory Card Reader, It cannot read my MicroSD. But, my Android and Blackberry Phones can read it.

Is my Memory Card Reader faulty, or my MicroSD is damaged...

Please help me to solve this problem, I have experiencing this problem last week only.

I cannot use my memory card in my Computer to copy files because of this...

Please help me to solve this!!! Any help will be appreciated...

Hey there, BXCodeME.

It sounds like it could be a faulty USB cable of the card reader, or try reinstalling/updating its drivers. You could also try it with a different computer, to see if you get the same result. It sounds like the card is working fine with two different devices, so it shouldn't be its fault. You could also try another memory card with the card reader, to see if it's recognized properly.

I also do that. Plug in on any computer, and sadly, I cannot find the driver of the card reader, maybe the driver is removed to the web... :-(

I also follow what you said. I tried also in another memory card reader and Memory card; It also shows "Removable Drive" and Windows prompt me to format that drive (This is only appear in the 2nd memory card reader.). Even if, the Memory Cards is working properly on the Phones.

Still, the problem persist and I don't know how to fix this.

You are most welcome mate.
It might be a faulty memory card. Try backing up the data in your phone's memory or to a cloud storage and try reformatting the memory card, to see if the same thing happens after that.
