I have 4 slots on my motherboard and when i put fill all four slots the computer does not boot.
If i put a combination of 2x4gb sticks and 1 2gb stick it works. As soon as i fill all four with any combination the system does not boot.
I have two questions.
1. Does anyone know what would cause this, none of the sticks are defective as ive used them in other pcs and ive also switched them around and it always boots with 3 in.
2.Will the system work better with 10gb in single channel or 2x4gb sticks in dual channel. Im currently playing xcom2 and low settings hoping to boot it up to mid.
Thanks
My system is
Windows 10
8gb Ram
64gb SSD with windows on
1tb 7200 hard drive with xcom on
AMD FX 4350 4.2ghz quad core
560TI 1gb Nvidia card
The motherboard is 970a-ds3 v3.0
