Just because it's not listed on the compatibility charts at the manufacturer's website, doesn't mean it won't work. All the compatibility charts are, is a list of parts which the manufacturer have tested in their own labs to make sure they work with their product. This does not by any means imply that anything not listed on the compatibility charts, will not work with that product, it just means that the manufacturer hasn't tested it.
For example, If i buy a motherboard and a certain set of OCZ ram, and this specific set of OCZ is not on the compatibility list, that does not mean that set of OCZ will not work in that board. It means the manufacturer never tested that specific set of ram to be able to say "Yes, this set of OCZ ram will not have compatibility issues in our motherboard".
Edit.... if you don't like the way the specs are lining up, pick a different set of ram, or a different board.
